Huang Chengfu asked about the chapter 'You and Hui — who is better?'
The Master said: 'Zigong learned much and remembered, working on sight and hearing; Yan Hui worked on the ground of the mind — hence the sage's question to open him. Zigong's answer again lay only in knowledge and opinion, so the sage was sighing over him, not approving him.'
